Heroes of the Storm celebrates the Warcraft expansion with Echoes of Alterac

With the next World of Warcraft expansion Battle for Azeroth fast approaching, it’s no surprise that the Warcraft universe is once again coming to Heroes of the Storm's Nexus in a big way. So if you're not prepared, buy wow gold is the right thing to do.

The latest event to hit Blizzard's franchise-spanning MOBA game is called Echoes of Alterac, and is bringing players back to the classic Alterac Valley showdowns that defined PvP in World of Warcraft’s classic battlegrounds.

In addition, Blizzard is also welcoming a new hero to the fray - Yrel, the first-ever Draenei to enter the Nexus.

WoW fans will remember Yrel from the MMO’s fifth expansion, Warlords of Draenor. She initially started off as a naive priestess of Karabor, enslaved by the Iron Horde, but she managed to break free of her captivity and go on to fight against them.

Yrel quickly became an important figure among both the Draenei and the Alliance forces on Draenor. She is a Paladin armed with a giant crystal mace, and billed as a deliberate melee warrior, whose heavyweight abilities reward premeditation and commitment.

In HotS, her unique trait, Divine Purpose, allows her to charge her next basic ability at no mana cost and instantly.

All of her basic abilities can be charged up over 1.5 seconds, increasing effectiveness at the cost of her movement speed, which takes a 25% hit when charging.
